Code of Conduct

Server Rules

The rules in force on the Blood MC Minecraft network and Discord server. Each one is numbered so it can be cited in a punishment, and each one states the penalty for breaking it. They are enforced as written.

BMC-LEG-01

Applies on every game mode, world and lobby of the Blood MC Minecraft network, on both Java and Bedrock Edition.

A.1Cheating and Unfair Advantage

Modified clients, x-ray resource packs, kill aura, reach, aimbot, fly, auto-clickers, macros, scripted input and any other tool that gives you an advantage the game does not are prohibited on every game mode. This includes having such a tool loaded without using it.

PenaltyPermanent ban on first offence. Purchased ranks and items on the account are forfeited and no refund is given.

A.2Bugs, Glitches and Duplication

If you find a bug, a duplication glitch or unintended behaviour, report it to Staff. Using it instead is not clever — it takes value out of the economy every other player on that game mode is working inside.

PenaltyRemoval of everything gained, plus a 14-day ban for a first offence. Duplicating items or currency at any scale is a permanent ban. Reporting a bug you could have exploited is rewarded.

A.3Respect for Players and Staff

Harassment, bullying, threats, sexual harassment, hate speech and discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality have no place on this network. Neither does publishing another person's real-world information.

PenaltyEscalating mute — 1 hour, then 24 hours, then 7 days. Hate speech, threats of real-world violence and sharing someone's personal information are an immediate permanent ban with no prior warning.

A.4Chat and Communication

Keep chat usable for everyone: no flooding, no repeated messages, no walls of capitals, no advertising another server or service, and no arranging real-money deals outside the official store.

Penalty1-hour mute, rising to 24 hours on repeat. Advertising a competing server is a permanent ban.

A.5Claims, Griefing and Safe Zones

Respect player claims, protected regions and designated safe zones. Do not break, steal from or build to obstruct another player's base where the game mode does not permit it. Logging out to escape a fight you are losing falls under this clause.

PenaltyRollback where technically possible, plus a 3-day ban. Repeat griefing is a permanent ban.

A.6Scamming and Real-Money Trading

Agreed trades are honoured, giveaways you announce are paid out, and a "trust trade" you renege on is fraud. Selling or buying accounts, ranks, items or in-game currency for real money outside the store is prohibited on both sides of the deal.

PenaltyPermanent ban and forfeiture of the items involved. Where the goods still exist, they are returned to the player who was scammed.

A.7Ban Evasion and Alternate Accounts

A punishment applies to you, not to the account you happened to be using. Rejoining on a second account, a VPN or a different address to sit out a mute or a ban is treated as a more serious breach than whatever earned the original punishment.

PenaltyPermanent ban on every account and address involved. Any temporary punishment being evaded restarts from zero at double its original length.

A.8Staff Instructions and Impersonation

Follow a reasonable instruction from Staff, and take a disagreement to a support ticket rather than to public chat. Do not claim authority you do not have, and do not use a name, skin or tag designed to pass you off as a member of Staff.

PenaltyMute or ban at the discretion of the Staff member involved. Impersonating Staff is a permanent ban.

C.Enforcement and Appeals

This section governs both schedules above. It is how a punishment is decided, what you can do about one, and what will not help.

  1. C.1
Punishments are graduated, but not mechanically so. Severity, intent, your record and whether you were straight with Staff when asked all count. A first offence admitted openly is not treated like a third one denied.
  2. C.2
Enforcement is evidence-based. Screenshots, chat and command logs, anti-cheat records and direct Staff observation are all used, and are retained as described in our Privacy Policy. You may ask what a punishment was based on.
  3. C.3
A Staff decision takes effect when it is issued and is final at that point. Arguing it in public chat does not reverse it and is itself a breach of A.8.
  4. C.4
You may appeal once, by opening a ticket on our Discord server within 14 days of the punishment being applied. Appeals are reviewed by administration and that outcome is final.
  5. C.5
Paying for a rank buys features, not leniency. A ranked player is held to exactly the standard set out above, and a ban forfeits every purchased item on the account with no refund — see our Refund Policy and the suspension clause of our Terms of Service.
  6. C.6
Not knowing a rule is not a defence to breaking it. Neither is "someone else was doing it", "I was joking", or "it was my brother on my account" — under A.7 and the Terms, what happens on your account is yours.
  7. C.7
This document is not exhaustive. Staff may act on conduct that plainly damages the Network or the people on it even where no clause names it precisely, and the clause it is dealt with under will be stated when the punishment is issued.
  8. C.8
To report a breach, open a ticket on our Discord with the username, the approximate time, and any evidence you have. Reports made in public chat are not records and will not be investigated.

Almost everyone who plays here never sees a punishment. These rules exist for the few who would spoil it for everyone else. If a clause is unclear, ask before you test it — open a ticket on our Discord and administration will answer.
